These prices are based on a standard-difficulty replacement of existing wooden windows with Xact series 1450 custom-manufactured vinyl windows in a structure located within the Kansas City Metropolitan area. What you will need to do is to measure the sizes (width by height) of your existing windows in inches. The distance between your interior wooden trim pieces plus one inch should be close enough for estimation purposes. Vinyl replacement windows utilize your existing wooden frames, so the sashes and balance systems are replaced. For each window size, enter the "width" and "height" in the appropriate boxes. You can enter multiple windows of the same size in this form, in the "Quantity" box. Then press the "Add to Bid" button, and a new line will appear to enter more window sizes. There is no limit to the number of entries that this program can process. This program will not compute fractions (i.e. 27 1/2 inches must be entered as 27.5) but rounding up to the nearest inch would also be perfectly adequate for estimation purposes.
